Everything was great, including affable stuff and particularly good location in a state park. The rooms on lower level. A wide array of options, excellent food. Location near lake, the beach side of the lake that was very close, and the Lake Barkley Resort “ windows ” restaurant. Very nice stay, as always.

The location is great, with easy access to the dining room, lobby, main entrance, gift shop, and the restaurant. The rooms are a nice size and brand new on the lower level. The heated pool was enjoyable and the staff was super-friendly.

Great location with a beautiful area nearby. By the way, we took a walk to the lake in the evening - it's only about 700 ft from the hotel. Our room was on the lower level. 🌅

The room at Lake Barkley State Resort Park had a unique and charming design with a cozy dark wood interior. The restaurant on site was fantastic, and the staff members were friendly and attentive. The housekeeping service was also excellent.
One minor inconvenience was that our room was located upstairs, and to reach the restaurant, we had to climb several flights of stairs multiple times a day, which was a challenge due to my husband's twisted ankle and my own skinned knees.
